Un altro piccolo ma significativo tassello è stato aggiunto alla costruzione del comune di Casali del Manco.
A più di un anno dallo storico referendum (26 marzo) e dalla data di istituzione dell’ente (5 maggio), il corpo elettorale casalino ha scelto lo stemma (con relativo gonfalone) rappresentativo dell’intera comunità.
Ha vinto la proposta n. 3 realizzata da Davide Serra, che ha ottenuto il 48,67% delle preferenze.
E’ stato un processo simbolico, ma fortemente significativo.
La comunità, ivi compresi i bambini e ragazzi delle scuole, nel pieno spirito costituente, ha partecipato attivamente, tramite esercizio basilare di democrazia, nella decisione sul gonfalone.
Tutto prende origine dal bando promosso dalla Commissione Statuto, bando al quale hanno aderito 10 proposte.
La Commissione ha condotto un vaglio preliminare sulle proposte presentate, secondo i criteri del bando, selezionando i 3 progetti meritevoli di essere sottoposti al giudizio elettorale.
La decisione di interpellare il voto popolare va nella direzione di partecipare e allo stesso tempo includere l’intera comunità casalina nel processo di scelta, al fine di edificare e consolidare lo spirito unitario del nuovo ente comunale.
