Catanzaro – E’ in arrivo il caldo rovente, con un’ondata di calore che si preannuncia forse la più torrida di questa stagione: da domenica fino a Ferragosto, l’Italia verrà investita da un’imponente ondata di caldo africano, con temperature che potranno toccare punte di oltre 45 gradi sulle regioni meridionali. “Un evento estremo”, secondo gli esperti de iLmeteo.it, “con pochi precedenti”. Un vasto campo di alta pressione sub-tropicale, spiegano i meteorologhi, “si allungherà dall’interno del Sahara fino ad abbracciare buona parte del bacino del Mediterraneo. Oltre a garantire un’estrema stabilità atmosferica, con tanto sole su tutta l’Italia, la vera notizia riguarda i valori termici: la massa d’aria in arrivo si preannuncia a dir poco rovente con temperature fino a 28-30 gradi a 1500 metri di altezza, la quota che solitamente viene usata dagli esperti per valutare la massa d’aria”.Nella pratica, spiegano ancora gli esperti, “questo potrebbe tradursi in temperature massime fino ad oltre 45 gradi al Sud e sulle due isole maggiori. Anzi, nelle zone interne della Sicilia e sul tavoliere della Puglia si potrebbe persino superare tale valore. Stiamo parlando di anomalie variabili da 5 a oltre 10 gradi in più rispetto alle medie climatologiche di riferimento, insomma siamo davanti ad un evento estremo con pochi precedenti”. Questa volta il caldo raggiungerà anche le regioni del Nord, rimaste per buona parte dell’estate sotto le grinfie dei temporali, “con valori che si spingeranno ben oltre i 36-37 gradi in molte città delle pianure”. Il team de iLmeteo.it avvisa che “la fase più calda è attesa tra giovedì 12 e sabato 14, quando si raggiungerà l’apice di questa che si preannuncia come la più rovente e generale fiammata dell’estate 2021”.
